CODA is a place of culture that brings together a museum, a municipal library and the municipal archives under one roof. The museum is the result of a merger between the city's history museum and another museum. The building was designed by the Dutch architect Herman Hertberger. The collections are very diverse and include paintings, sculptures and graphic works. CODA is best known for its collections of jewelry and accessories, acquired in conjunction with other museums in the country. CODA acquired a Schiaparelli brooch from Lady Gaga.
