Floriade is a world horticultural exhibition that takes place once every 10 years in the Netherlands. This edition is held in Almere until October 9, 2022. The theme is "Growing Green Cities" which puts sustainability and city life at the center of the city, knowing that more than 50% of the population lives in cities and that this number is expected to increase even more by 2050. The complex features a beautiful arboretum, a unique cable car and innovative and inspiring events. The country pavilions are incredibly inventive.

At the Floriade Expo 2022 international horticultural exhibition in Almere, you can enjoy the greenery for six months, from 14 April to 9 October 2022. You will discover green solutions from national and international innovators and minds that make our cities more pleasant, more beautiful and more sustainable. You will also enjoy the scent and colours of flowers, plants, vegetables and fruits. Immerse yourself in the theme "Growing Green Cities" and learn more about developments in the field of greenery, food, health and energy.

A celebration of green
Floriade Park will be a celebration of green and sustainable technology. New technologies for greenery, food, energy and health will be studied and implemented in this living laboratory. You will be touched by what they see, smell and taste.
Cable car
Take a ride on the 850-metre-long cable car and travel quickly between the southern and northern parts of Floriade Park. On the way, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Floriade Park from a height of 35 metres and you will be able to test the unique potential of urban cable cars as a sustainable means of transport. You want to be part of it!
40 countries
More than 40 countries will present their culture, plants, flowers and local innovations at the Expo. Are you ready for a trip around the world?
Art and culture
Floriade Expo 2022 will offer art and a varied cultural programme. Exhibitions, live music, from classical to jazz, shows and orchestras. The park will be full of energy and action.
Eating and shopping
Every visitor will have plenty of opportunities to eat or drink. A range of restaurants, food trucks and tastings will offer local produce, snacks and healthy meals.
