A 300-metre-high sandstone hill with a splendid view of the La Ferrière-aux-Etangs quarry.

Nestled in the heart of the La Ferrière-aux-Étangs forest, Mont-Brûlé offers a pleasant, cool interlude on the GR22. A tourist and religious site, walkers follow a Way of the Cross, blessed in 1926 by Abbé Bertrand, to the heights culminating at 302 m above sea level. Once past the replica of the Lourdes grotto, the summit reveals a panoramic view over the south-western Orne and a pond nicknamed the Blue Lagoon. From the Calvary of Christ to the fluorite aspect of the quarry pond, Mont-Brûlé offers a journey rich in symbolism.
