It was in this manor house, rebuilt in the style of Balmoral Castle, that the famous Estonian composer Eduard Tubin lived.

On the road from Lake Peipsi to Tartu, you can visit this charming 19th-century manor house. A famous Estonian composer, Eduard Tubin, lived here. Between 1880 and 1885, it was rebuilt in the style of Balmoral Castle in Scotland - a royal residence. Completely renovated in 2011, the museum now welcomes visitors curious about the history of this region of Estonia. Alatskivi Manor also boasts a beautiful surrounding forest park of around 130 hectares, as well as a restaurant.
