SULTAN ISA (ZINCIRIYE) MEDRESI

This former Koranic school dates back to 1385. The remarkable building has two domes and a carved entrance door, one of the interests of the monument. Its terrace will give you a nice view of the city below and the whole Mesopotamian plain, which extends to Syria, the border is only 20 km away. Here lies Sultan Isa, his tomb is located in a room at the back of the school. Nice strolls in the courtyards and nice pictures at sunset.
