Classified as a Natural Site and Monument of Character, this island of nature in the heart of the town is a paradise for walkers, joggers, families and fishermen. The 26 hectares are divided between the château, the moat, a vast pond, lawns, two play areas including an accrobranche, bridges and a forest park criss-crossed by paths offering a wide range of walks. The site also preserves a rich biodiversity, with an original bird sanctuary near the pond, tulip trees, cedars, beeches and yews.
