OPABA - VINABIO
Opaba (Professional organization of the organic farming in Alsace) is a trade association opened to all the organic and biodynamic Alsatian farmers. Its main purpose, since its foundation in 1980, is to promote and develop the organic farming in Alsace. This syndicate brings to the agrobiologists helps and support in their activity, proposes formations on the organic farming, represents the producers near the public and professional authorities, and struggles for the empowerment of the number of the regional organic farming. Since 2010, the Vinabio label gathers the wine growers engaged in a card of challenging vinification: a clean vineyard management of the soil, its micro-organisms and ecosystems, manual harvest, vinification and clean growing of grapes and wine, in order to obtain a wine of quality and reflecting the local.
