The sculptor of the Statue of Liberty was born in Colmar, and his hometown honors him well. The outdoor sculpture is definitely worth seeing. Sometimes concerts are held in the museum garden. A must-visit spot while in Colmar!

Interessant wenn man sich für die Geschichte Bartholdis interessiert. Einige schöne Skulpturen zu sehen. Ohne Audioguide weniger empfehlenswert da die meisten Tafeln nur auf französisch beschriftet sind.

Très beau musée dans la maison natale de BARTHOLDI. On y découvre toutes ces œuvres dont le lion de Belfort et la statue de la liberté.

No merece la pena pagar ni 1 céntimo. El museo en si solo son fotos y maquetas pequeñas de las estatuas de Bartholdi, las cuales el 90% ya las has visto previamente durante tu visita por Colmar; y de la Estatua de la libertad ves unas fotos que puedes encontrar en Google y unas maquetas roñosas. Además, las recepcionistas de la puerta de lo más desagradable que he visto trabajando en un museo. No nos querían dejar entrar por ser estudiantes y estuvimos media hora mostrándoles que realmente éramos universitarios. La actitud de las recepcionistas podría hasta calificarse de xenófoba y de odio a los españoles. Lo peor de la ciudad sin duda. Si no queréis sufrir actitudes discriminatorias no vayáis.

Cute little museum about the person behind the statue of liberty. Worth a visit. Museum not that big. Beautiful museum with so much to see regarding Bartholdi's work. It is definitely worth a visit to see the work of this diverse artist

When you look at the Statue of Liberty it is wise to know that a talented and dedicated man amongst other in the French-American friendship created such a wonder. It is the fate of great man to create wonders and for all others to admire them. The museum is a hidden gem, it is history and art all together. A must see for all.

as a New Yorker I was honestly surprised to learn more about Lady Liberty from a short visit to the Musée Bartholdi than I had on any individual day of my life in NYC. The rest of the museum was also fascinating and highly educational! Definitely recommend stopping by and learning about the life and career of Bartholdi and his influence on two cultures across an ocean

Un peintre, un sculpteur. Connu pour Lady Liberty. Le musée mérite de passer du temps. Très intéressant, surtout l'histoire de la statue de la liberté, un projet difficile qui dépasse par le symbole la prouesse de la réalisation.
