A Venetian Renaissance building that stands out from the typical Alsatian architecture in Colmar.
Little Venice isn't called that for nothing. This astonishing Venetian Renaissance building is well worth a visit: it stands out from the typically Alsatian architecture of Colmar's other monuments. Built in 1608 by architect Albert Schmidt, it was destroyed in the 19th century and rebuilt identically. Its facade and roof are classified as Historic Monuments. Its arcaded gallery is simply sublime.
