If you want to give some of you and your time to help save lives, you can go to the NICE in Colmar during one of its hotlines (or in the Catherinettes room during punctual collections if you prefer to avoid going to the hospital). After taking a quick check of health with a doctor who will judge whether or not you are fit to donate your blood, the collection will take place in just 5 minutes. On the NICE website, you can make a quick test that will allow you to know if you are eligible for blood donation. If you have more time and your health allows it, it is also possible to give your plasma or platelets but, for this, it is imperative to make an appointment before, think about it! As follows: it is better to respect 8 weeks between two donations of blood and not exceed 6 donations per year for men and 4 for women. On the other hand, your platelets can be collected every month and your plasma every 2 weeks.
