Lodging with an exceptional decor located in the heart of the residential area of Colmar.

This former 1920s private mansion contains superbly preserved treasures of the Ecole de Nancy. 3 rooms and 2 suites (with private terrace) are spread out in a setting mixing Art Nouveau and contemporary universe. A trip back in time! There is also a sauna area, a lounge-library with home cinema, and a room reserved for billiards. A copious breakfast composed essentially of local products (kougelhopf, pies) and freshly squeezed fruit juices is served in a beautiful dining room or in the charming and large garden.

- Good location ( just about 10 minutes walked to petite Venice ) - Cozy and clean room ( we stayed at room 1, the bathtub was a bonus after a long day exploring the city )

Had an absolutely wonderful stay with Florence in her beautiful b&b! My friend and I stayed in two rooms of the home, both of which were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and super comfortable. The house itself is great - gorgeous furniture, stained glass windows, and our favorite - a fireplace at the entry lounge which not only warmed us up after our days exploring the Christmas markets, but also filled the house with a pleasant aroma. Breakfast was fantastic, with tons of options - assortment of cheeses and meats, fresh fruit, tons of jams/spreads, cereal, yogurt - and of course, delicious fresh bread and pastries. Location is fantastic, a straight shoot from the station (we walked easily with our luggage) and about a 10 minute scenic walk to the city center. Thank you, Florence, for a fantastic stay!

Villa Elayne was a wonderful stay. The owners were very helpful with bikes that are available to guests and arrival before check-in. Once checked-in access to the home was keyless. The room itself was very well appointed - spacious bathroom with tub, separate shower with multiple jets, a small fridge, coffee maker. There were many amenities on site that we didn't get a chance to use (common area, spa), but we did take good advantage of the bikes available to guests and the owner was very helpful getting us set-up for this. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and the breakfast room very welcoming. It was a short walk from the train, set in a beautiful neighbourhood. The old town wasn't far (15 min walk) and it was nice to escape the old town to a quiet neighbourhood when our day was finished. I would be happy to stay here again.
