Castle and fortress built in the middle of the 15th century.
This fortress was built in the mid-15th century by Pier Maria Rossi for his beloved Bianca Pellegrini. The rigor of its exterior, an expression of its military vocation, contrasts with the refinement of its interior. The Camera d'Oro houses a cycle of frescoes by Benedetto Bembo, celebrating both the love between Bianca and Pier Maria and the power of the clan through the representation of the Rossi castles. In the alleys beside the fortress, at the Cantina del Borgo, local wine is produced and you can taste the excellent barbera.
