Ostrich farm with around 88 animals in Simon's Town.
This ostrich farm is surrounded by fields full of... ostriches. You can simply stop to observe them or take the guided tour. The farm has about 800 ostriches, but you will not necessarily see it, the place is vast. You visit the different rooms, from the brooding to the raising of the young, passing by the hatching. The visit is finally quite fast, but very interesting, especially for children. At the end of the visit, there is a small store selling leather and feather articles and decorated eggs.

Le cadre est très agréable. Nous sommes juste passé au Magasin, le restaurant étant fermé exceptionnellement ce jour là. Le magasin est très agréable avec de très beaux produits. Les prix ne sont pas donnés mais la qualité du cuir est impressionnante. Le service et les conseils sont très bons et les vendeurs prennent le temps d'expliquer comment les produits sont faits, sans être envahissant. Si vous allez au Cap de Bon Esperance en sortant du parc naturel faite un stop à la ferme!
