Simon's Town is the last town before the Cape of Good Hope Reserve, a good base for exploring the peninsula. The historic centre is charming with its line of Victorian houses, but also its lively marina. A pleasant little town where water sports and activities are part of the daily life of the inhabitants as well as the travellers. Diving trips are regularly organised from Simon's Town, or even more emotionally intense trips to meet sharks. Don't miss the few museums and the superb colony of African penguins just outside the town.
