Vangxang Hotel is located about 2 km west of the Central Market at the pier on the Sekong River. The air-conditioned rooms are grouped in groups of three in permanent pavilions around a large parking lot. Comfort is basic but adequate for the rates charged. The restaurant overlooking the river serves good local cuisine, but you will have few options to enjoy Sekong! The establishment is next to a karaoke bar, but it is only open some evenings...
