This is without a doubt the most charming of the stores located on Rua Formosa. Its yellow front and its signs definitely stand out from the other stores. Opened in 1917, A Pérola do Bolhão offers cod, cold cuts, dried fruit, canned fish, Port wine and cheese from the Serra da Estrela. The exchange with the shopkeepers is very appreciable (they speak French) and the service is smiling. It is obvious that you will leave with one or more products to bring back in the suitcase or to taste quickly. Machine to put under vacuum.

La devanture de cette épicerie, joliment peinte, mérite le détour mais c'est à l'intérieur que l'on trouve de merveilleux produits du terroir portugais. A consommer sans modération et bien sûr à rapporter sans hésitation.
