Discover seven museums dedicated to Porto and its region, while enjoying restaurants, bars and cafes. A WOW experience!

This is the brand new cultural and gastronomic place of Porto, opened in spring 2021, on the other bank of the Douro, in Vila Nova de Gaia. In this district in full reconstruction, the idea is to propose to the visitors, in the same space 7 museums dedicated to Porto and its region (wine, cork, chocolate, history, anthropology, fashion and textiles), while enjoying the 12 restaurants, bars and cafes mixing tradition and modernity. Very nice view of Porto from the huge terrace. Chances are you'll leave with one word in your mouth: WOW!

Message from Management

A new cultural and tourist district is born in Porto. World of Wine (WOW Porto) offers six different experiences and nine restaurants, bars and cafes. It also includes the Wine School, numerous shops, an exhibition hall and an event space. WOW Porto compiles the history and emotions behind Portuguese wine, the ritual around this drink and the cork industry. But it goes far beyond wine, delving into Porto's historical heritage and revealing the secrets of some of the region's main industries, such as textiles and fashion, as well as chocolate.

All in all, the 35,000 square metres of space combine culture, tradition and art in a fun and educational journey for all ages. An experience not to be missed!

The project is supported by the partner group The Fladgate, owner of important port wine brands, hotels, restaurants and distribution and sustainability companies.
