An audioguide that accompanies the visit to Taylor's Cellars, detailing the stages of port wine production.
This winery belongs to the owners of the luxury hotel The Yeatman. The view of Porto from here is breathtaking! The program has changed a little in recent years. An audioguide now accompanies you on a tour of Taylor's cellars, detailing the steps involved in making Port wine and the history of the Douro Valley. The tour is organized like a real museum, with short films, photographs, paintings and more. At the end of the tour, the (almost obligatory) tasting of the company's port wines. A great oenological experience.

La visite se décompose en plusieurs parties : la découverte des chais et une exposition avec photographies et peintures montrant la création du Porto de la vigne à la mise en tonneaux. Un film est proposé en fin de visite avant la dégustation dans une très belle salle de 2 Porto ( blanc et ruby ).

La visite avec un audio-guide est au prix de 12€ par personne et deux verre de porto blanc et rouge) sont offert à la fin de la visite.
Cette visite permet de découvrir les méthodes de production du Porto et l'histoire de cette famille portuguaise.
Le parc situé à coté des caves est très agréable pour finir la visite.
