A family-run sardine factory offering a highly educational tour of the artisanal production of Pinhais canned fish.

The documented, interactive and very didactic visit of this century-old family sardine factory will allow you to discover the history and the production process of Pinhais canned fish, from the arrival of the sardines to the entirely artisanal canning. Here, everything is done manually. To finish your visit, you will exchange with the staff while enjoying a tasting. Visit in French with a very friendly guide. Not to be missed.

Message from Management

It is necessary to emphasize that the visit to the Pinhais cannery is made in an active plant and that the activity that visitors will attend will be the activity planned by the production team for that day. For this reason, and due to the limited sardine catch, Pinhais cannot guarantee that visitors will see the fish being handled on each visit. Visitors must arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Prior to the start of the visit, each visitor must disinfect their hands and reinforce hygiene before entering the production. The use of protective equipment is mandatory and will be provided by Pinhais.
