One of the oldest Romanesque palaces in Oporto where the infante Dom Henrique is said to have been born. Its museum bears witness to the history of the city.
Legend has it that the infanta Dom Henrique, also known as Henry the Navigator, was born in this house. But the place has another historical interest: it is one of the oldest Romanesque palaces of Porto, built in 1325, and used by the crown of Portugal from the 14th century. The pieces presented by the museum (archaeological remains and sublime mosaics) tell the story. An interesting visit that will please all the members of the family, parents and children, the curious and the history lovers.

Visite intéressante: beau bâtiment, quelques objets et panneaux explicatifs. Rien d exceptionnel, cela se fait rapidement mais mérite le détour. Bien situé en ville.

According to legend, where the infante HENRIQUE (Henri the browser) was born, it is above all a place where the city's history is explained, a very interesting and informative visit.
