Across the river from Vila Nova de Gaia, on the other bank of the Douro, the A Margem restaurant is a great place to enjoy seafood. On the menu, fish dishes in particular, served in extremely generous portions and presented simply so as not to distort the product. But also vegetable soups as starters, omelettes, the chef's paella, and cuts of meat accompanied by vegetables and potatoes. Good wines to accompany the dishes. The service is meticulous and the atmosphere pleasant. Worth a try. Reservations recommended.

Restaurant très sympa en bord de du douro dans un petit village de pêcheurs où on mange très bien. Attention les plats sont copieux y compris pour les enfants. Bonne expérience
