Opened in May 2010, the Forneria at the end of the beach in Vila Gaia de Nova is not an Italian restaurant but offers the best pizzas and carpaccios in town. Facing the waves, the large room is nicely decorated and very pleasant, even more so when plates of local cheeses arrive, petiscos as varied as they are tasty, as well as various seafood specialties. You can eat well, for a low price, in a cosy, traditional and family atmosphere. Do not hesitate to cross the bridge to go to the other side of the bank.
