Inaugurated in 2022, these footbridges offer visitors the chance to use their heads and legs, as the trail combines heritage, nature and physical activity. The 930-metre-long wooden walkways link the Côa Museum to the former Côa railway station, where the Côa and Douro rivers meet. With 890 steps and a 160-metre gradient winding up and down the hillside, the path is a physical one. But the breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding valleys will reward you for your efforts.
