BRENTON STATE PARK

Once you're through Bellevue Avenue, take Ocean Avenue. This road offers breathtaking ocean scenery and leads to Brenton State Park, the southern tip of Newport and Aquidneck Island. This place is a must for nature lovers, with its 36 hectares of greenery and seafront partly made up of rocks, on which the waves come ashore. Here Narragansett Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. People come here to hike, fish or have a picnic.
