The beaches are under great surveillance by the local population. Alcohol and dogs are not allowed during the summer months and you should be careful not to leave any rubbish behind. At low tide, you can walk to Salt Island just opposite. Beware, in the summer, the beaches are overcrowded, it is better to arrive early.
