Located in a former church, Salem's most visited museum is divided into two parts. First, you enter a vast room in which the story of the Salem witches is played out every 30 minutes. From the first suspicions to the final trial, thirteen scenes present the sequence of events that marked the town forever. Continue your visit with a timeline tracing the presence of witches from myth to the present day. The whole museum is a reflection on tolerance and respect for everyone's beliefs.

Un petit déçu par le musée. La première partie du musée raconte comment s'est déclenchée la chasse aux sorcières à Salem à l'aide de petites scènes. La deuxième partie se veut un appel à la prudence face à l'exploitation des peurs comme celles des sorcières qui ont mené au massacre d'innocents.
On en apprend autant à l'office du tourisme avec leur brochure et film explicatif.

A very interesting museum where one is truly immersed in the heart of witchcraft. An atmosphere, a very special atmosphere. We can all made imagine us behind several centuries during the witches of Salem ². We learn a lot about this religion. I really enjoy myself. A beautiful experience.
