CROSS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

At 58 m (190 feet) high, it is visible for 32 km (20 miles) and is one of the tallest crosses in the world. It was erected in 1995 to protect travelers but also to draw their attention to the religious community of Cross Minestry. Every day, a thousand pilgrims visit the site and walk the Way of the Cross at the foot of the building, which is composed of life-size bronze sculptures. Next to the store is a landscaped pool where Jesus gives the blessing amidst waterfalls.
