A shady terrace facing the sea, an address you will surely return to if you drop anchor in the port of Polače. The home cooking at this konoba is a real delight. While salads are common, you have to try the seafood risottos, sardines and grilled vegetables here unless you are more into lobster or crawfish. Even the fish soup is a surprise! Mijote also offers dishes under the peka, to be requested in advance (usually at least 24 hours in advance)! As for the service, it would be difficult to do better.

The restaurant offers great food, a comfortable ambiente with a nice view towards the ocean. Our server Damir was very welcoming and made us guests feel like kings.

Sehr freundliche Leute, top Service. Wir hatten eine Fischplatte für zwei, sehr empfehlenswert. Danach noch Palatschinken. Die Portionen sind groß und alles von sehr guter Qualität. Einen Palatschinken haben wir mitgenommen. Der hat kalt am nächsten Tag immer noch köstlich geschmeckt, was auf gutes Bratfett schließen lässt.

Amazing food and service. Don’t trust bad reviews. We eat all over the coast and this was far less than what we paid in other places. Or what we expected. Quality vs. Price really good. Try octopus peka. Excellent wine list.

Service was impeccable. From the moment we made a reservation, the restaurant personnel and owner approached us and helped with everything, including taking the order for Octopus peka, a traditional local dish which takes 4 hours to prepare, a highly strong recommendation to try.
