This place was really something special. From the ambiance, food and service, everything was perfect. I would also like to thank the staff for adapting the beef tartare for me since I’m a celiac and they made sure I also have the full experience as the rest of my family. Coming back for sure.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We pre-ordered the lamb and veal in the "bell" and it was superb! Highly recommended.

Diese Taverne ist das beste Restaurant/Taverne, in dem ich bisher war. Die Bewertung ist 10/5. Ich weiß wirklich nicht, wie ich die Aromen des Essens und die Atmosphäre beschreiben soll. Absolut alles ist auf einer anderen Ebene. Vom Essen bis zum Personal einfach TOP. Leider kann ich diesmal nur so viel sagen, die Freude ist zu groß. Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir gleich einen Snack als Gruß aus der Küche, als Vorspeise gab es Soparnik (zubereitet nach Maha-Art), als Hauptgang Octopus unter dem Ofen und als Nachtisch gebackene Pfirsiche … Reservierung erforderlich , und einige Gerichte (wie Hoba unter dem Ofen ) müssen am Vortag bestellt werden. Wenn Ihre Reise Sie auf die Insel Korcula führt, besuchen Sie unbedingt diese Taverne, Sie werden beeindruckt sein.

Ova konoba je najbolji restoran/konoba u kojoj sam do sada bila. Ocjena je 10/5. Zaista ne znam kako da opisem te okuse hrane i atmosferu. Apsolutno je sve na jednom drugačijem nivou. Od hrane pa do osoblja jednostavno TOP. Nažalost ovaj puta mogu samo toliko reci, odusevljenje je preveliko. Pri dolasku smo odmah dobili Snack kao pozdrav od kuhinje, za predjelo smo uzeli Soparnik (spravljen na Maha nacin), glavno jelo Hobotnica ispod peke i za desert su bile Pecene Breskve... Rezervacija je obavezna, a neka jela (kao Hoba ispod peke) se moraju naručiti dan prije. Ako Vas put navede na Otok Korculu obavezno posjetite ovu Konobu, ostati cete pod dojmom.

Predivan ambijent, ugodno i lijepo.
U svakom trenutku osjećaš se dobrodošlo. Hrana pripremljena na fantastičan način. Isprepliću se okusi i mirisi vrhunskih jela. Vina u ponudi su sva vrhunska, renomiranog imena i s pričom kraja iz kojeg potječu. Usluga vrlo profesionalna. Osoblje educirano i u svakom trenutku ima odgovor na sva pitanja o hrani i piću koje nude.
Jedina mana je parking.

We pre-ordered the octopus and fish peka a couple days prior as it needs hours to cook so plan accordingly. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous; set up in the hills in wine country on Korcula. The chef explained the cooking process and outdoor oven setup. It was really special. All the food was divine, and the service was outstanding! Loved the fig old fashioned as well.

The food and atmosphere are was seriously out of a dream. The nighttime cab ride felt like we were being driven along a long road to a robbery, but I promise as soon as you get there it will blow your mind. You’re greeted immediately by a wonderful server and you sit down in the ambiance of a 5 star restaurant. Every part of the experience makes you question why this place doesn’t have a Michelin star. I have food allergies to one of their main course items (octopus) and they happily accommodated. We haven't given a Google review before, despite travelling all around the world and trying different restaurants. We wish we could give 100/10. Fully recommend.

Don’t eat here, over priced food tastes microwaved. Spent enough money for a hotel and got terrible everything. Save your money go to a gas station.

Arguably our best experience in Croatia. Amazing ambience as soon as we’ve arrived, with great food and beautiful cocktails (really enjoyed the fig old fashioned).

Después de 3 meses y venir desde Barcelona, hemos podido disfrutar de una buena experiencia en Konoba Maha. Lugar retirado del bullicio, en la parte alta de la montaña y comida espectacular.
Servicio y atención excelente por parte de todo el equipo.

A culinary experience that you truly do not want to miss. Absolutely must order a Fig Old Fashioned. Highly recommend pre-ordering Peka for the full experience. The octopus is like nothing I’ve ever had. A wonderful legacy.

Our evening at Konoba Maha was a lovely way to end our stay on Korcula.

The setting is beautiful and the staff friendly.

The prices are definitely on the higher side (curious if they were raised after being featured on Somebody Feed Phil.)

The Octopus Peka was indeed tender and flavorful but perhaps the star for the show was the traditional pastry with spinach and goat cheese.

2020: Highly recommended! Very delicious food & perfect service!
- romantic atmosphere
- their own olive oil with short explenation by the waiter
- local food (exactly what a „Konoba“ shall be)
- great home made pasta, adriatic shrimps and octopus
- wine: „Grk“ by Radovanovic is recommended

2023: Wir waren wieder auf Korcula und wieder bei Maha; es war wieder wunderbar! Bedienung freundlich, aber nicht zu „formell“, eher freundschaftlich. Erklären jeden Gang ins Detail, was drinn ist, woher Zutaten sind, wie die Zubereitung abläuft. Wir haben wunderbar gegessen und können auch den selbergemachten Minz-Eistee (am
Ende haben wir rund 6 Stück bestellt) absolut empfehlen. Ein Muss auf Korcula.

Setting is great, I have been visiting this restaurant for the last 8 years and always take guests visiting Korčula to experience the ambiance. Prices are now exorbitant and based on that alone, I would recommend many alternative, equivalent restaurants on the island.

A beautiful family run place with Delicious food, the creamy zucchini soup was so flavourful, the steak was so juicy, the Peka slow cooked stew was so tender. We also enjoyed the herbal sage juice! The service was good too, definitely an unforgettable experience.

In love with this place! Visited with my family this summer and we had a blast. From ambience, music, staff and food…everything was perfect! We had soparnik and beef tartare for appetizer then peka and few desserts. I’m only sad I didn’t know about this place earlier!

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen,
Essen überteuert, war auch nicht besonders gut, sehr wenig am Teller
Haben für 2 Personen mit je 1 Getränk (Bier 0,33 l €5) € 85 bezahlt, sind hungrig nachhause ????

Ambiente jedoch sehr schön!

Konoba Maha is a must see in Korcula ! It is so beautiful and well kept. The staff are amazing, very attentive and explained everything we saw on our plate. They offer Peka (traditional Croatian food) but also a range of dishes for everyone. Lots of local produce incorporated. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting and it is only a short drive from the main township ????????
