This restaurant not far from the road does not have the charm of its competitors in the other hamlets, but is still a very good address. It serves very good grilled meat with home-made vegetables, pizzas, lamb, veal or octopus cooked under the peka (ask in advance), etc. Perfect for groups and to taste the traditional cuisine of Žrnovo in a rustic setting. Don't leave without first trying the macaroni with meat ragout. The owner's mother makes the sauce!

At the end of a sloping path, a family restaurant serves excellent grilled meat, fish and seafood, octopus, squid, scampi, as well as seasonal vegetables. There are also dishes cooked under the peka, such as hare a la Žrnovo, often served on a common platter where each table helps itself, just like in a family meal or with friends. The products are local, as is the wine. The menu is in French and the friendly welcome is in English. The owners also rent houses and rooms in the village.

This comfortable "ranch", with its large farmhouse decor and inviting terrace, makes you feel like you're in the country. Some say that you can taste the best macaroni à la Žrnovo on the island... In any case, the grills and peka are a pleasure to see and even more to eat! The locals also come here for a drink in the evening and the cocktail menu is indeed worth a visit. The brothers Ivan and Jakša, the owners of the konoba, share the roles: Ivan is at the stove, while Jakša takes care of the cocktails.

This address is to be deserved, the path is stony but the reward is at the end of the road. On the Smrč plateau, south of the hamlet of Postrana, take the small road that goes down to the bay of Defora. The stone property facing the sea is surrounded by lemon, pomegranate and fig trees. The vegetables from the garden accompany the grilled meat and fish. When in season, at the end of summer or in autumn, you can try the house specialties, the recipes based on Dalmatian cabbage (zelje). All of this is accompanied by wine from the estate.
