Tranampelo is the Makrydimitris family's magnificent vineyard just outside Glinado. Organic Naxos grapes are grown here. A visit to the estate includes a walk around the vineyard and ends with a tasting where the wines are accompanied by local cheeses and organic vegetables from the family garden. On full moon days, the family sets up a large table in the vineyard and serves a menu of local specialties from various local restaurants, combined with different organic labels from different regions of Greece.
