The elegant marble and wooden building of the restaurant was built in 1844 in the area of Paraporti in the town of Naxos, a place where peasants worked in the service of the Venetian conquerors of the island. Paraporti was the second most important south-north entrance to the Naxos Castle area. Outside, on the two terraces, you can enjoy the view of the harbour and start the day with a healthy breakfast, and of course taste the local specialities.

Ein älteres, sehr schönes Lokal, leicht versteckt in der Altstadt von Naxos. Das Angebot auf der Speisekarte ist überschaubar, aber sehr gut. Die Weinkarte ist vielfältig. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Blick. Würde jederzeit wieder dort essen.

I've come to Naxos 5 years now, and this is by far the best restaurant on the island. The view, the atmosphere, the staff, the food - all beyond spectacular... so much so, we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here! Cannot recommend enough.

Good value. Ocean view but surrounding area could be a bit tidier. Food is fairly good, service was fine.
