Family-run organic cider mill in La Ferté-Macé
An artisanal cider house just two minutes from downtown Fert! For over 50 years, Michel Breton has been producing and marketing traditional products made from apples and pears grown in his orchards: farmhouse ciders, both sweet and brut, poiré and pommeau for aperitifs and digestifs, not forgetting Calvados domfrontais aged in oak barrels, ideal for the famous "trou normand". The farm is officially in conversion to organic farming, but the ciders, like the apples, undergo no treatment whatsoever.
