Aegean Village is an accommodation complex nestled in the heart of Parikia's old town. it's close to many of the town's attractions: a 5-minute walk takes youto the 13th-century Venetian castle, the archaeological museum , etc. It's also astone's throw from the lively local market street and the majestic Byzantine cathedral of Ekatontapiliani, known as the Church of the Hundred Gates. It offers a variety of accommodation options to suit your needs. Rooms are designed with your comfort in mind, and are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, safe, satellite TV, telephone and free Wi-Fi. If you' relooking for more space and privacy, spacious apartments for 2 to 5 people, with their own private entrance and shaded veranda overlooking a peaceful communal garden , are available. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, you can opt for studios equipped with practical kitchenettes, and some offer private balconies overlooking the garden or a picturesque view of the pedestrian street. Le logement était rempli de mites, la salle de bains était très sale, on nous a changé les serviettes uniquement après deux nuits passées à l'hôtel, et les draps après trois nuits. Personne n'est donc venu nettoyer la chambre le premier jour. Nous devions faire notre lit nous-mêmes, la télécommande pour la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et il a fallu leur réclamer des mugs propres et du café car ils n'en remettent pas après utilisation.
J'avais également réservé une vue sur jardin et la seule vue sur jardin que j'ai eu était le fond d'un second jardin, reculé, dans un état déplorable, et malheureusement pas le principal que l'on voit sur les belles photos de l'établissement.
Ah et le clou du spectacle : pas d’eau chaude le matin, donc penser à vous doucher le soir, parce qu’on vous envoie balader sous prétexte qu’il n’y a pas eu assez de soleil pour chauffer les panneaux solaires !
Bref, un hôtel vraiment pitoyable, heureusement que le personnel est sympathique et que l'hôtel est bien situé.
