Museum showcasing the history and expertise of Alençon stitch, with a fine arts section and Cambodian objects.
Located in the former Jesuit College, the museum reveals the history and technique of Alençon stitch. Accompanied by educational tools, the scenography showcases 25,000 works, including a19th-century bridal veil made entirely using Alençon stitch lace, which is inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The museum also features a fine arts section and an astonishing collection of Cambodian objects.

Le logement est plus que de la dentelle, mais vous apprécierez l'attention portée aux détails pour en faire beaucoup. Regardez la vidéo d'introduction. Il y a également un parking. frais d'entrée de 4€ par personne.

Magnifique musée aux thematiques variées : dentelle, art cambodgien, peintures, sculptures et expo temporaire. Celle de Zenga est pleine de poésie, un moment suspendu. Ne râtez pas le petit film sur la fabrication de la dentelle extrêmement bien fait et qui met en perspective les pièces vues dans la salle ensuite. Quel travail de fourmie pour toutes ces dentellières des temps passées. Prix correct et accueil très souriant. Merci encore
