A brasserie in the best sense of the word: this Taverne des Cinq J indeed develops the standards of French gastronomy, starting with a specialty that one does not necessarily expect to find here, the sauerkraut. Offered in several ways, it has nothing to envy to its Eastern counterparts. As for the rest, there is a vast choice of possibilities, from meat to fish, including seafood platters. Special mention to the wide opening hours, which extend until Sunday evening, a rare thing here.
