The Cascatona waterfalls offer a beautiful series of waterfalls, with a total drop of more than 80 metres and a natural well for bathing. They are located inside the Caraça sanctuary. It is necessary to walk a little more than six kilometres of paths in the heart of the beautiful Mata Atlantica. The waterfalls must be earned. The route is difficult, especially in rainy weather. You can then climb to the top of the waterfall and it is a bit perilous at times. The water is cold in the natural pools.
