It's no secret that there are many walks in the Grand Duchy! Even in its capital, it is possible to go on nice walks. Some of the tours are available free of charge from the Tourist Office.

What's very local

Hiking, Nordic walking, walking, running, mountain biking, trails... Luxembourgers are real fans of outdoor sports. It is not for nothing that major sporting events are organised throughout the year! There are also many golf clubs throughout the country.

Fishing is allowed in most lakes and rivers in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, but a permit is required (more information at www.guichet.lu)

Ordinary permit: 18 euros/year, 4 euros/month.

Special A permit: 30 euros/year, 6 euros/month.

Special B permit: 40 euros/year, 8 euros/month.
