A bar located just a few meters from the Musée National d'Histoire et d'Art (MNHA). Rodolphe Chevalier, twice Luxembourg's best sommelier, welcomes you to an intimate, modern setting with a refined, contemporary decor. Vinoteca offers visitors an excellent wine list from all over the world. This bar and wine cellar also serves small plates of tapas, cheese and charcuterie. An address no wine lover should miss. The Bouneweger Stuff has a long history as a meeting place, where people used to meet for a drink to exchange the latest gossip. Today it is a trendy bar with a wide range of drinks and a cuisine based on organic products from the Greater Region. During the week, a menu of the day completes the menu, while on weekends, the unmissable low-cost brunch takes place. At the back of the restaurant, a bowling alley is available for customers.

Kaale Kaffi is a particular concept since it is a boutique-café in which an unimaginable amount of objects and clothes from the 1950s to the 1980s are spread out in the middle of a small bistro-lounge type room. The decor is very special and we love to feel pampered sitting in a comfortable sofa in the middle of these antiques, paintings and thrift shops that some people would be ready to tear off. Vintage lovers or not, people come here all day long to enjoy a good cappuccino or a glass of wine.

Do you like to sing a little ditty once in a while? Then the Café des Artistes is the place for you! Here, the artist is you, the public does not hesitate to actively participate in the evenings of typical Luxembourg songs. Regularly, piano-bar evenings are organised by the light of dripping candles. Sometimes, a customer invites himself at the piano. This probably comes from the decor, with its vintage posters stuck to the walls and paying tribute to Brel, Piaf... A resolutely bohemian atmosphere. Notice the hidden talents!

The drinks menu features specialty coffees from The Barn (high quality coffees grown and prepared with care). The restaurant extends over two floors, where yellow and white dominate the decor, in all simplicity. It's a warm, friendly address, with the ambience of a neighborhood café.

The Piano Bar is located in the heart of the capital and is open to both internal and external guests. The elegant and modern setting invites you to relax in the comfortable armchairs. A cigar room is also available. On the menu, dozens of varieties of malt and whiskey compete with ambitious cocktail proposals. The most daring will be tempted by the "improvisation", a cocktail composed according to the barman's wishes. From Thursday to Saturday, DJ sets or concerts enliven the place.

Opened by Iulia and Liliana, Onda is a 100% vegan coffee shop. In a comfortable, colorful setting (ah! those beautiful frescoes on the wall and that pretty pink counter), you can enjoy a soup, a mixed salad, a smoothie bowl or Chia Pudding. Pastries are made every morning according to the manager's whims. All dishes are prepared with organic ingredients and are animal-free. As for drinks, lemonades are served alongside teas and coffees (with homemade hazelnut milk). An address with good vibes..

Located at the corner of the Place de Strasbourg, Bloom is a coffee-shop just the way we like it. High ceilings, white walls, refined decoration, a few green plants... Its setting is as attractive as its coffees are good. One takes refuge in one of its three rooms to find peace and quiet while the world is buzzing around the station, located two blocks away. At lunch time, you can enjoy quiches, toast or soup of the day. While the sweet tooth is not left out and can choose from a variety of pastries. An address where you feel good!

In the train station district, inside the bike store, the Akor café (an acronym for Arnold Kontz Räder, founder of the cycling brand created in 1917) welcomes you with a pretty bar and a few tables. It serves hot and cold drinks (coffee, tea, milkshakes, etc.), sweet snacks (cakes, muesli, etc.), salads and gourmet sandwiches. The menu is based on fresh produce, some of which is organic, and includes vegetarian and gluten-free options. In summer, a terrace is set up in front of the restaurant.

A meeting place for many teenagers, the T.Zone is the first establishment in the capital to specialize in "Bubble Tea", also known as boba. Straight from Taiwan, this sweet drink is made from tea (green or black), mixed with fruit, milk or syrup. So many elements that it can be made in a variety of flavors! However, there's one aspect in particular that makes it so original: the black tapioca beads that explode in your mouth. If you don't like it, the place also offers coffees and teas.

It's impossible to pass in front of its pop and colorful shop without paying attention... On the Avenue de la Liberté, B'Sweet Donuts offers take-away donuts with amazing flavors. Salty Caramazing, Pistaberry, Merry Berry, Triple choco... Here, Homer Simpson's favorite donuts are original and ultra-gourmand. The decoration of the store reflects this spirit: its pink walls welcome neon lights for a casual and Instagrammable result. Don't leave the store without having immortalized your passage by taking a picture of yourself on its bench!

The establishment is located, as its name suggests, near the Grand Ducal Palace, in the heart of the city. A good place to come for a drink at any time of the day or to have a bite to eat. The menu consists of planchas, burgers, salads and tarts. As far as drinks are concerned, there is a wide choice: wines, gin, cocktails, rums, beers, whisky... When night falls, the hitherto peaceful atmosphere gives way to trendy evenings and mainly electro music, in a subdued and contemporary atmosphere.

This small cinema complex, part of the Kinepolis chain, has five screens with a total of 665 seats. It opened its doors in 1983 and has undergone various expansions and transformations. Its programming is varied and of high quality, with an emphasis on recent art house films from around the world. Although the films screened may therefore be reserved for an informed public, with a preference for auteur cinema, the establishment also offers must-see new releases and French comedies.

This lounge bar is aimed at a chic clientele, rather thirty and forty years old... Inside, the decor is both intimate and contemporary, where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail and chat with friends. Let yourself be tempted by the cocktail of the week or the signature Octans, made with vodka, passion fruit and raspberry liqueur. Among the good spirits, the whisky menu offers the largest choice. In fine weather, the terrace overlooking the street is always full. We like to show ourselves there to be seen!

This is an address that will only appeal to true hardcore partygoers. Open since 2016, the Gotham (yes, as in Batman!) is a very famous club-discotheque in Luxembourg, where the atmosphere is boosted from one end of the night to the other. With a bling-blingdecoration, the place is composed of a dance floor surrounded by VIP tables, as well as the Boom Boom Room, a space where VIPs can enjoy a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Look no further if you are a fan of electro music: this is where you have to go!

This coffee shop opened its doors in April 2023 in Royal-Hamilius, opposite the streetcar stop. The modern setting is minimalist: a terrazzo bar, a few green plants, comfortable armchairs around low tables and a counter overlooking the boulevard. In summer, the terrace invites you to enjoy the bustle of the city. It serves coffee from Nantes-based roaster Cime, as well as infusions, matcha and chai latte. Sweet and savoury pastries are also available. An address full of love!
