Andra - Centre de stockage de la Manche, France's first industrial radioactive waste facility, is well worth a visit.
Andra (Agence nationale pour la gestion des déchets radioactifs) invites you to visit its radioactive waste storage site in the hills above La Hague. The site looks after more than a million waste packages: surveillance, control and transmission are the main activities. You can also choose to take part in an escape game to help a character from the year 2500! Temporary exhibitions are also on offer.

Open all year round. Free access to the public reception building, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Free guided tour by prior arrangement for groups of 4 or more. Duration: approx. 2 hours. Identity card for adults and list of participants required.
