Youth hostel with camping sites, café-resto, bar with terrace and petanque court.

When a group of friends decided to renovate a 1960s motel and turn it into a gourmet and vacation destination, they came up with Le Camp de Base. On one side, the youth hostel with its dormitory, private rooms and camping sites, plus numerous services (kitchen and common areas, etc.). On the other, the café-resto and its tasty dishes incorporating home-smoked meats and fish, not forgetting the bar with terrace and petanque court. Bonus: a great cultural and musical program in summer. We recommend it!

Le restaurant est excellent. Vous y mangerez bien. L’hébergement est plus que médiocre. Matelas très inconfortable. Très mauvaise insonorisation. L’eau de la douche change de chaude à froide tout le temps. À noter que le WIFI se déconnecte continuellement. Pour le même prix par nuitée, dirigez-vous face au fjord ou près du Lac Simon où l’hébergement sera de bien meilleure qualité.

Une auberge géniale avec une atmosphère unique de motel des années 60. On y mange bien et on y boit des bières de microbrasseries locales. Le personnel est super sympa et les chambres sont confortables et très propres. Il y a aussi de belles salles communes et une cuisine partagée.

La cuisine est très bonne ! Nous avons pris un burger de porc effiloché avec frites et salade, c’était excellent!! Le service impeccable ????

La poutine y est excellente! Meilleurs à date. L'ensemble de la cuisine est très bonne. L'ambiance auberge style rock/jazz y est vraiment agréable. Le service est au top, accueillant et aidant !
