The castle of Ripaille, built in the 15th century by Amédée VIII, enjoys the presence of the lake. The Sainte-Hippolyte church is a typical example of baroque style. The funicular runs on about 50 m difference in altitude between the port and the city center.

L'office de tourisme est dans un château de toute beauté. Le bâtiment vaut vraiment le coup d'oeil. L'office en soi est de qualité. Personnel très sympathique et compétent.
