Chapel of the Madeleine with photos, plaques, paintings and objects, hosting a memorial to the and divisions.

Acquired by the city of Saint-Lô in 1988, dating from the 12th century, the Chapelle de la Madeleine has had a thousand lives: leper colony, chapel (of course), feed store, and to evoke its past would take hours. Listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments, it is now home to a memorial in honour of the 29th and 35th divisions that helped liberate the city in 1944.
