Located just behind the church, "Chez Gaspard" is run by a very friendly Portuguese priest. Several clean bungalows are hidden in a beautiful green garden dotted with fruit trees and aromatic plants. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, on order, and offers a mixed and rather good cuisine. A good plan in the village, provided that you are not too careful about the state of the installations and the level of comfort. In short, a simple, modest and welcoming hotel, but where nothing is missing.

Hôtel trés correct disposant de bungalows familiaux.
Situé en centre ville de RANOMAFANA mais à l'écart de la route nationale (Derrière l'église Catholique), l'hôtel GASPARD dispose à minima d'un Bungalow (Dernier tout au fond de l'hôtel) familial permettant de loger 4 ou 5 personnes minimum sur deux niveaux avec salle de bain, Lavabos et WC privatif. La chambre était propre lors de notre passage en juillet 2019. Le restaurant est correct, mais il faut réserver 01 ou 02 heures en avance minimum pour avoir un service efficace. L'hôtel GASPARD est calme et correct.

At Gaspard, a Catholic accommodation center located behind the church, composed of bungalows. The ceiling fan did not work. This is why a small booster fan was there but proved insufficient. The plumbing was also faulty and the bathroom did not have a tablet to put its business. No TV or wifi. You can eat 14,000 Ar dishes that must be ordered in advance. For our part, at night, through little or unlit streets, we're going to "Chez Claire". It's not very far, 500 m on the left. At Claire, it is good and cheaper, in a pleasant setting, dishes between 6 and 10 000 AR (1.5 € to 2.5 €)… And no tourists.

We highly recommend this hotel. the bungalows are very well, clean and comfortable. The setting is superb. The restaurant is decent.

I had the opportunity to have one of the last bungalows therefore built nine, comfortable on a beautiful garden. the value for money is very good, however the recently opened restaurant is poor, they must make progress of this there side especially that you can eat very well in Madagascar
