Beautiful Romanesque church whose 14th-century square tower played an important role in the history of the landing - see signs on the square. Inside, you will notice the imposing sarcophagus of Robert aux Espaulles, so-called because of his imposing stature. Easy to find, it stands in the heart of the small village and can be seen from afar, even from the sea! A detour to this beautiful church, before or after your visit to the D-Day landing beaches, is well worth it.
