OUDIERIN

On the way back from Bird Island, why not stop for a picnic at Oudierin, on the beautiful beach of a marabout woman's village, a rarity in the country. A hut, then two, were built around her lair, followed by a mosque. Her reputation is well established in the area. She worked mainly by telepathy, and rumor has it that the governor would travel to consult her. Today, tired with age, she has gone to rest in her village. Her son Mamadou Diouf's wife has replaced her at the head of Oudierin.
