We are immediately impressed by the giant terracotta sculptures installed at the entrance of the museum, near a few old cars including a Corvette from the 1970s. Inside, this small museum exhibits 2,000 year-old terracotta statues, bronze sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries, masks of West African insiders and paintings by the Senegalese artist Djibril Ndiaye, who died in early 2017. An interesting visual journey, despite the absence of explanations that would make it more exciting.
