NEWA CHEN
House built during the Malla dynasty, with airy, cosy rooms and common areas, a garden and a small museum to visit
Built under the Malla dynasty, this house has undergone renovations supervised by Unesco. The guest house was built to preserve the Newar architecture. Charm and tradition combine with a warm welcome. Bricks, wood carvings, typical small doors (less than 1.80 m high!), alcoves, floor mats... The rooms and common areas are airy, comfortable and recently refreshed, and the garden is very pretty. This hotel is a little museum, immersing you in the Newari atmosphere of the time.
