Things to see and do Cavendish

The L.M. Montgomery Cavendish National Historic Site includes the site of Lucy Maud Montgomery's home where she wrote Anne of Green Gables, among other works. This house is in fact the farm of her maternal grandparents. Only ruins remain today, but this is the site of the Haunted Forest Trail, the Balsam Hollow Trail, and the Lovers' Path, all of which are extensively documented in Anne's novels.

Cavendish is a charming town on the north coast of Prince Edward Island. Known as the place that inspired the novel Anne of Green Gables, Cavendish...
