Located in the heart of the Innu community of Uashat, the site is home to the Atikuss artisanal workshop-boutique, which sells products from the 11 Aboriginal nations of Quebec (with special mention to the superb mukluks boots, atikuss.com). To finance its activities, part of the house has been converted into a small hotel with lovely studios. There's also a superb loft with private balcony, large kitchen and dining room that will make you feel right at home. Bonus: a package allows you to combine accommodation with a whale-watching cruise.
